Seed starting!

Today I sent in the payment and paperwork for my garden plot and started a bunch of seeds:

• Basil (Golden Mountain Sweet Thai Mix Basil)
• Bee Balm (AKA-Bergamot)
• Borage
• Broccoli (Blue Star Gai Lan)
• Chives (Polyvit)
• Kohlrabi (Superschmelz)
• Peppers (Maria Nagy's Transyvlanian hot peppers)
• Tomatoes (Baylor Paste)

I have some seeds that'll be most happy to be sown directly outside, but I'm not sure if we're currently in a false spring or not and I'm worried about one last surprise freeze. We had an unbelievably mild winter and a bizarre ice storm in January (seriously, it shut my town down for like half a week) and I'm not sure how to read that. Usually we have a false spring in February, but I don't know if this spring will be "usual". I'll wait to see what March has for us.
